At Gaylord Cleveland Bays, we specialize in breeding high-quality Cleveland Bay horses. Our goal is dedicated to preserving this endangered, rare and majestic breed, known for its strength, intelligence and versatility.

Gaylord Cleveland Bays was founded in 2010 by Peter Cook, an Englishman who has spent a lifetime around horses. The thought was that supporting a breed that was critically endangered would be a worthwhile way to stay involved with horses in his later years. Peter enjoyed foxhunting for more than 50 years and remembers hunting a Cleveland Bay in the 1970’s.
