M.E. joined Gaylord Cleveland Bays as a 2 year old broodmare prospect in 2011

She has produce 5 lovely foals, four of them breeding stallions and she is still at the farm today.

Cornish (USA) Pride

Pride was purchased in 2019 as her bloodlines were mostly unrelated to the other mares on the farm. She had her first foal, a colt, who was sold as a yearling and is now in south-west Pennsylvania.

Charlotte has had two foals. Sadly her first colt foal, Gaylord Archie, died as a yearling, he was plagued by problems throughout his short life and was fondly known as “Poor Archie”.

“Kewpie” was purchased by Steffanie Burgevin of Waterford, Virginia in 2021 with the understanding that she would have a foal before she left the farm.

Kewpie has grown up into a lovely mare and won the purebred Cleveland Bay in-hand class at Upperville 2023 for Steffanie.


Fluttery Rose

Rosie is a thoroughbred mare who bred two very nice part bred foals. As our mission is to breed purebred Cleveland Bays, Rosie was found a successful new career where she can put her great mothering skills to good use. She is in a program where she carries embryo transfer foals to term.
